La Bella Black Nylon Tape
As shown in the photo. These strings are specifically for an archtop type jazz guitar. They are extra long, as required for a trapeze style tailpiece. The following is the desciption as quoted from the LaBella website.
"Why can’t I use this set on a guitar with a standard scale?” These strings are really long because they are made to fit jazz guitars that have tailpieces. The strings are 36″ from ball-end to silk. The silk should clear the nut and only the silk should wrap around the tuning post. You can wrap the tape wound portion around the tuning post, but if the string is too long, you will have to leave the excess tape wound portion of the string on the guitar because you cannot cut the nylon. You can only cut the silk. If you cut the nylon, the string will unravel. Note that not all jazz guitars have tailpieces, so make sure you measure the distance on your guitar from where the ball-end is located to 1/4″ past the nut. If that distance is around 36″, then these tape wound sets will fit your guitar".

As shown in the photo. The gauges shown are for 3rd, 4th 5 th and 6th strings only. 1st and 2nd are not usually wound so can be anything.

Thomastic Steel String Acoustic Guitar Strings
These are Thomastic plain and bronze wound steel strings. These are available in the following gauges. Sizes are in thousands of an inch.
Plain steel: 09, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19.
Bronze wound: 25, 33, 34, 41, 43, 44, 47, 50, 59, 61.
I can put together custom sets from these sizes.

LaBella 500P Professional Concert and Recording Classical Guitar Strings
Lots of reviews on these strings. Not my favourite, but great if you are recording, or you want to reduce string noise.

Pirazzi 34 Classical Guitar Strings
These strings are an old model, made by Pirastro, that are no longer available, except for these ones. This is new old stock. For 34 size classical guitars 58 to 63 cm playing length.
I have not tried these strings as yet as I don't have a small guitar to try them on, but Pirastro are known for high quality strings, and if these strings are in any way similar to the Pirastro Eva Pirazzi violin and viola strings then they will be outstanding.

Thomastik Dorata Classical Guitar Strings
These strings are an old model, made by Thomastik, that are no longer available, except for these ones. This is new old stock. Copper colored bass strings, and a plastic wound G string, and clear top strings. These are a high tension string. They sit between what is now generally a high and superhigh tension.
I have tried these on a couple of guitars, the last one being one of my own very good instruments. These work well, and enabled the guitar to work almost as well as the strings I like to use, which are much more expensive. These are available with either a plain clear G, or a wound nylon G string. The wound G is a bit thicker, and a bit brighter, but will give a bit more string noise.

Prima 18 Violin Strings.
Not the most exotic of strings, but ok for 18 violins, and perfect for school instruments. A very rugged string, even if they sound a bit harsh.

Single violin strings
The folowing strings are loose strings. All strings are $2 each, but there is a minimum quantity of 10 strings, as I do not want to deal with smaller orders. Great for schools wanting spare strings, or just to have a few around, or to mix and match, as some people like doing. Unfortunately there are no A strings left.
Pirastro Aricore E Violin Strings
I have lots of these. I personally find that there is not that much difference in steel E strings between models and brands. Available in both loop and ball end. $2 each.

I have lots of these. Good for spares. These were a reasonable string to put on violins that came in with really bad strings years ago. Suitable for school and student violins. $2 each.

I have tried these out on my own viola, and found them very nice. These strings are exceptional value.

Cello Strings
Thomastik Superflexible 3 Quarter Size
New old stock. These have been sitting in a warehouse for some years, misplaced and forgotten. They are still made by Thomastik, but in a new package. Same string though. These strings are katalog numbered 790, 791, 792 and 793. I'm not sure why this is, but it's most likely this was done by the local importer to code them as 3/4 size.
I have extra G, D and A strings so these are available separately.
Some of the packaging has become a little faded and tattered, but strings are in perfect new condition.
$70 for the set. $20 each individual string.
Thomastik Superflexible Full Size
New old stock. These have been sitting in a warehouse for some years, misplaced and forgotten. They are still made by Thomastik, but in a new package. Same string though. C, G and D strings only are available. Katalog 27 (D string) and 27a (Aluminium wound D string), 28 (G string) and 30 (C string).
Some of the packaging has become a little faded and tattered, but strings are in perfect new condition.

Prima 18 size Cello Strings.
As shown in the photo, for 18 size cellos. Not exactly the most exotic Cello strings but very dependable rugged strings that will survive any, well, most school environments.
Price: $20 per set, or $10 per set for 10 or more sets.
Pirazzi Mandolin Strings
These are new old stock, and generally not available any more. I have not tried these yet, but, being made by Pirastro, they are a high quality string. If their name sake, the Pirastro Eva Pirazzi violin and viola strings are any indication, these strings should be oustanding.

Thomastik Mandola Strings
These are for the Octave Mandola, tuned one octave below the standard mandolin. These are not for use on the Alto mandola, which is tuned like a viola, and is shorter in scale to the octave mandola.

Anyone who has tried these strings knows they are a world apart from other cheaper strings, and are a must for classical mandola players.
