Premier and generic drum and marching drum parts.

This page lists various Premier parts, timpani covers etc. These items are all brand new, but reduced to clear at great prices. For any groups wanting to purchase several items I am willing to see what I can do with regard to price. Once these parts clear, they will become hard to find.

All Premier items are genuine Premier parts, are old stock, in that it was brought into the country some years ago, but brand new.

All prices are inclusive of GST. I am able to organise freight, if required. Cost varies with destination.

For schools wishing to order, I am able to provide ABN and invoice the school.

Timpani Covers

Brand New. This cover is 34 inches, or 86 cm wide. It should fit up to a 32 inch timpany, depending on how far the side struts, if there are any, protrude. These have a hard top sewn in but are not padded on the sides. They are easy to store as they fold up very flat, unlike the padded ones, which do provide better protection on the sides, but are difficult to fold up and store. Six of them available.

I can freight these items anywhere in Australia.

Premier Marching Drum Carriers

Brand new old stock. There are 3 different model carriers available. Model 6913, 6914, and 6918. The 6913 is pictured, and the others differ only in the size of the U shaped bar that carries the drums. The 6913 and 6914 are both listed as an XL projector carrier. The 6918 is a T-Bar small quad carrier for 8',10", 12", 13" or 14" drums. These have been sitting around in the warehouse for some years.

Price $300. Each. The 6918 model normally retails for $690. Havent found much information on the other models as yet.

I also have available part number SP0903-031CA, which is the part that attaches to the drum so that it can hook onto the attachements on the carrier. This part is shown further down this page.

Marching Drum Slings

Brand new old stock Premier marching band slings. All are leather, that in some cases could do with applying some leather softening polish, as these have been sitting in a warehouse for many years.

This one is 48 mm wide, white and an over the shoulder sling with an open metal hook. Price is $30. Just the one left.

This one is in brown, 48 mm wide around the waist sling with a round closed metal hook. Price is $20. Two left.

Conga Heads

I have a number of these DP (Dalto Percussion) heads. They measure 305mm or 12 inches in diameter from the outer edges, so I imagine they should fit an 11 inch conga. I have also fitted one of these to a 12 inch djembe, and it sounded great.

The following lists a number of Premeir drum parts that were imported to Australia years ago when Premier actually supplied parts for their instruments.

I also have available various cases, timpany heads, sticks, mallets, marching drum harnesses, leg rests, timpani guages, bass drum carriers etc. Everything I have available is listed here.

Premier HTS and Marching Drum Snare Wires

I have a number of original Premier Marching snare wires for internal and external snares. This is all new, but old stock. I don't have any information on some of these items, so any further information would be muchly appreciated.

Premier 649 Gut Snare Wire

As shown, this is a packet of gut snare wire. New old stock. Not exactly sure of the model number, due to part of the label missing, as shown in the photograph.

4 strand gut snare. No idea as yet what this might be for. It looks like the wooden part is a strainer. 3 left.

Premier 651 Snare Wire

Part Number 651 is a top internal snare wire. Not sure which drum this will suit, but it will be an early drum. The cardboard package and the printing on the cardboard are very suggestive of the 50's or 60's. I have seen one suggestion on the net that it is for a Super Ace, but having tried to fit this one on to a 50's Super Ace I can say it is to short, by around 2 inches.

There are 2 different versions of this snare wire, at least according to the label on the cardboard package. There is however no difference that I can see. All the same size. 3 left.

Premier 0652 Snare Wire

Part Number 0652 is a top internal snare wire for HTS drums. This has 24 strands. The end plates are 51mm wide. For use with 40/60 Traditional top snare strainer, suite 1049S and 97S drums.

$40. I have recently sold some that were fitted to an Australian made Drouyn marching snare. They apparently fit perfectly. Seven left at this time.

Premier 0678 Snare Wire

Part Number 0678 are bottom external wires, 24 strands, used on HTS800, HTS700 and HTS200 drums. Three left.

High Hat Part

This item is most likely part of a hi hat assembly. I have found a number of these stored amongst boxes of Premier parts, so it may well be a Premier item. Possibly from a lock fast high hat setup? Would love any further advise on what this might be.

Premier HTS "long" suspension tube. Part no 9934. Premier, it seems, likes to confuse their drumming folk, as this part, which is lablled "Long suspension tube D" is exactly the same size and length as the one shown below, which is labelled "Short suspension tube D". This is the plastic tube that covers the rods on these HTS drums.

Premier Part No. SP0835-009. Don't know what its for but hopefully someone needs one?

Premier Part No. SP0200-15. These are the grommets used on either end of the high tension rod covers on HTS snare drums.

Premier Carry Ring. Part No. 901CA. Used on Premier bass drums.

Price: $10.00.

Premier Accessory Part no.SP0903-031CA. This part attaches to a drum when it it used on a multi carrier. This allows the tapered slots to slide over the similarly shaped attachments on the carrier.
